Last night, RL Grime (in my opinion, one of the most sophisticated trap-style artists out there right now), released a FREE, amazing remix of Rihanna's single "Pour It Out". Today, Rihanna's management forced RL Grime to take it down due to copyright violation. HOOLLLDD up! Since when is sampling copyright violation?! 99% of songs put out today are sampled! Matter of fact, I'll bet my left nut that all of Rihanna's new album is sampled! This is just a nonsensical, greedy move by some fat, greasy, corporate bastards.
If anything, Rihanna and her management should be thanking RL Grime for the free promotion and taking her music to the next level. This song goes DEEP. Emotional, heavy shit....Wait...what?! What the fuck am I saying....its about god damn stripping!
Bottom line: Rihanna, if you're reading this, tell your management to get their heads out of their gaping asses.

Pour It Out (RL Grime):

Download this shit and play it out for all to hear!

PS: I don't hate Rihanna, this was probably out of her control.

SaaP GUISEEE! I just got hit with another wave of writer's block whilst trying to write a stupid political science essay. Dat shyt suxxx forrealz LMAO! Since I want to stay productive, what better way to get the creative juices flowing then by hitting you with some new music?!
I got a new favorite artist. He goes by the name Bird Peterson aka Drankenstein! Disproving ginger-h8rs around the world, his music is firey-hot like his fire beard and has more soul than a Southern, african-american gospel choir. Can I git an "AMEN"! His beats are one of kind, showcasing sophisticated samples and influences in heavy electronic dance shit, hip-hop, old skool funk, and so much more. If I was a promiscuous female, I would sleep with this man in a heart beat. ...forget that last part, check out these 3 tracks and N_frikkin_joy!

Pon De Girls (Bird Peterson Remix):

mmmmmHMMMMM! This is what they just used to jam out to, back in the prohibition days. Down some moonshine n grind on some silly wenches. #HISTORYLESSONFORYOURBROKEASS! #YOLOSWAG xD <--I just learned that, that face is this face (">_<") sideways! xD

Diamonds (Bird Peterson Remix):

HOLY FUX! Everybody tweet @rihanna and tell her to thank Bird for taking her sissy-ass song and adding some super, sexual grit.

Swimming Pools (Bird Peterson Remix):

Back in the day, I used to luhhhh rap musik! Over time, it has lost its appeal to me but when you lay a deep, mesmerizing beat over ANY lyrics, imma be sure to listen! xD (new fad). Do a whole pot and slap this trap anthem!

EDIT:// I forgot to add...all his music is free on his SOUNDCLOUD

Bootleg Fireworks!!!!

Hayyyy gguiissee!!! Remember me? If not, no hard feelings. Life has been kicking my ass lately so I've neglected the shit out of this page. Mai bad! Awesome new single off Calvin Harris' label, by Moombahton's poster child, Dillon Francis. While it ain't the 4th of July, there is never a bad time for a little sparks and explosions!
This track bumps and grinds! N_Joy.

Bootleg Fireworks (Burning Up):

Just in time for Day of the Dead this weekend! Shake yo ass, wiggle yo dick!

Highlarious video that is VERY appropriate for this song:

I'm going to try to throw up some more posts more frequently so check back again soon!

What up good people of planet URF! I know its been a little stagnant around here but that is due to 1 part laziness and 4 parts of the lack of anything interesting to blog about lately. WELLLL, do I have some fantastic news for you! Late last night, it was discovered that ALEX RIDHA aka Boys Noize aka  Big Daddy announced the release of his new album, Out Of The Black,  as well as dropped a little teaser via Rolling Stone Magazine. Here is what the Techno god himself had to say about the track:

“This particular track was inspired by the vibes I get from the Beastie Boys, for instance,” Ridha told Rolling Stone. “Their Licensed to Ill album is one of my all-time favorite records, and to me ‘What You Want’ has some sort of B-boy style mixed with my obsession on robot vocals and modern sound aesthetics. This song combines a lot of things I love about electronic music.”

What You Want:
Pure gold. With so much of today's electronic music sounding so formulaic and similar, its extremely refreshing and almost a relief to hear something like this. MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR OCT. 2ND!

Rock The House

It's been a while friends! BUT upon my return, I bring you Afrojack's hottest single, Rock The House. This track is up on the level of Replica in terms epic-ness! The song begins with a friendly distorted, chord progression, leading into a dark, pluck-y synth that starts to change the direction of the track. All of a sudden, the curtain falls and the big room piano and kick drum start pulsing. The anticipation only gets bigger until it's everyone's favorite time: el droppe or as we americans call it, "The Drop". Filthy, phat dutch house that will make your eyes roll to the back of your head. Afrojack takes every element of house music and mixes it with his signature sound to produce Summer's TRUE #1 hit. N_JOY

New Lands (A-trak Remix)

Upon the release of their latest single, Justice put together a stellar cast of A-Trak, SebAstian, and DJ Falcon to take on the task of remixing this indie-dance bomb. My favorite remix out of the three is definitely A-traks' because it is reminiscent of old Justice. A-trak does a good job of keeping to the French House style yet adds hints of electro and acid, making for one fantastic track!

New Lands (A-trak Remix):

Friday, June 22, 2012

First and foremost, SHOUT OUT TO THE MIAMI HEAT FOR OBLITERATING OKLAHOMA IN THE FINALS! Lebron James is the best player in the world, no question. Summer is starting off great! Let the good times roll with this KILLER remix by Oliver on Breakbot's latest single, One Out of Two. Bumpin bass line, funky melody, and lyrics catchier than Carly Rae, make this song absolutely #1 in your summer play list. 2GOOD! HARVEST NOW! N_joy

One Out Of Two (Oliver Remix):

Express Yourself

Diplo. Diplo. Diplo. Another producer who I have the utmost respect for. Night in and night out, Diplo does his thing, whether it be rocking a crowd of 10,000 or sitting in the studio and pumping out slapping, original music. I would say the biggest thing that sets him a part from the rest, is his originality. House, rap, electro, name it, he has done it and done it DAMN well! Currently on his latest craze, Diplo released this banging moombahton EP, Express Yourself, which features 6 original tracks at 110 Booty Pops per Minute (BPM....ziiing!). This is crack & unicorns in aural form: both awesome and rare, you're gonna be shakin that ass til the early morn'. Below, I've shared 2 of my absolute favorites off the EP....RATCHET!

Move Around ft. Elephant Man & GTA:

What I really like about this genre is the open end for creativity. This track features tropical, intricate percussion, reggae-rap, a little dubstep/moombahcore and is blended at a significantly slower BPM than house, creating for some really filthy music! Two words final words: get DOWN!

Butters Theme (Original Mix):

MUSTHarvest in Butters from South Park? Either way, another fucking crazy track. Diplo knows what makes females tick. This is going to drive women through the roof! Good lawdd, when their mothers see them dancing to this.......

Tuesday, June 12, 2012

Lawdddy lawddd! Here is something to blog about! Two of my all time favorite producers, Harvard Bass and Bart B More, come together and meld a bassy, electronic bomb! First off, I would just like to say, these two stick to their roots and go about DJing and producing the "right" way. No bullshit, they make and play what they love, not what will make them money. On top of that, the music they make is intricate, interesting, original, heavy, and dope all rolled into a giant meteor of face melt. Pari is an acidic, techno-influenced, indie dance track that will have you smashing your head on the floor! Bass on bass on bass! Bass on bass on bass, HEY! Mad love to both these men, loving the track!

Pari (Original Mix):

Summer is here, time to PARRIIIIIIIII!!!!!!

BART B MORE WILL BE SHOWCASING HIS TALENT @Manor West, San Franciso THIS THURSDAY. Don't miss out on this extra special show and be sure to keep up to date with the hottest, new electronic weekly dance party held by Thunder God!!!

Weekend B33t Basket

Good luck to all of those making the trek into the Nevada desert to experience a weekend of extraordinary proportions! First of all, it blows my mind that Electric Daisy Carnival sold out this year.....DO YOU REALIZE HOW MANY PEOPLE that equates to?! Hundreds and thousands. Yeah, a lot of it is due to the popularity of popping pills and seeing Avicii drop Levels but with that a side, Insomniac has done a good job of adding great, under played artists of every genre.
Secondly, I like the direction they are trying to turn EDC into, making it similar to Winter Music Conference/Ultra. What I mean is, during the week, all the artists play the local clubs and then cap it off with an epic weekend, massive rave. My only qualm is the astronomical ticket prices to see these artists. These club promoters are getting a little too green but there is nothing we can really do =/
Welp, due to the hole in my pocket and the leash that school has around my neck, I'll be waiting for people to upload everyone's live set onto the interwebz and crying into my pillow.
Oh yeah, here are 4 tunes to get you grooving into the weekend. Holla Maholla!

Hell Yeah (Original Mix):

Just a random tune I discovered. It's got a funky, old school vocal sample over a filthy club beat. Perfect for building up the crowd before dropping something heavier. If anyone can tell me where the vocal sample came from, I'll give you an eHigh five.

Drop It (Club Mix):

Les Petit Pilous had my attention after Dada Life's unforgettable December 2010 Mix. This duo combines some of the hardest sound over complicated techno beats. Not surprised that they have finally gained a spot on techno giant, BOYS NOIZE RECORDS! This is a groovy, tech house track that will get people stepping.

Three Triangles (Original Mix):

Don't worry, I got some bangers for you as well. Hardwell with another fantastic original. I don't get it, how can Guetta be #1 DJ when there are producers like HARDWELL?! God damn, this kid hits it on the nail every time.

Xomp (Original Mix):

Another random tune I discovered. Rip off some faces with bangzor! End of the night tune that will have boobies flying left and roight!

All tracks are MUST harvest

Felix Cartel: Weekend Workout #14

Every artist now days has their own podcast-monthly mixtape-radio show of some sort. While most of them are great, there are also a lot that are mediocre. I know you don't care for mediocre so here is slamming mix from Felix Cartel's Weekend Work Out series featured on Tiesto's very on Club Life Radio  via Sirius XM. What I like about Mr. Cartel's mixes is his ability to bring the mood up and down, intelligently selecting tracks that range from neck breaking to love making. Weekend B33t Basket

High For This (Ellie Goulding Remix):

I'd say it's pretty tough to match The Weeknd vocally but Ellie Goulding does a nice job in this electro-pop rendition. Be sure to check out the original song. One version is for the beach, one is for getting freaky in the sheets!

Two Million (Original Mix):

Social media has changed the way artists reach out to fans and in appreciate of reaching two million followers on Facebook, Avicii has released this track for freezy! Being known as the guy who always plays happy shit, I like the layer of dirt he added on this track.

Black To White (Clockwork Remix):

Here is a steel-toed boot right up your Aushwnvizten (ass in german...jk i don't actually know any german). Clockwork is on the uphill climb and solidifying himself as one of the filthiest producers out there. Another fantastic track that will get the crowd jumping.

WTF! (Original Mix):

Nicky Romero and ZROQ bring the heat in this high-octane electro banger!

My tri-tip needs to be flipped so I gots to go.

Super LOVE (remix)

YEAAAESSSSSSSSS!!! Producers around the globe are kicking off Summer right. These past couple of days have been filled with killer releases. Next up, everyone's favorite Swede, Avicii crafts a funky house edit over Lenny Kravitz' hit, Super Love. Everything adds up right with Kravitz' soulful pipes erupting over a giant big room beat. Another #1 hit. n_Joy

Superlove (Avicii vs Lenny Kravitz Remix):

Monday, May 28, 2012

The message is clear. Steve Angello and friends don't give a fuck about what you have to say about them. If you remember, sometime around last year, Steve Angello took a lot of heat for a pre-recorded set and lost a lot of credibility/was questioned about his legitimacy in DJing and production. After a more than successful 2011 summer and the increasing growth of his record label, Size, it is safe for him to call out the haters. Teaming up with his younger brother (AN21) and Max Vangeli, they have gone from melodic big room to a club SLAP. Hard stacked on hard, you're ears are going to bleed. This is a prime example of great house music!

H8RS (Original Mix):

The Edge

What is going on! We all know that Swanky Tunes and Hard Rock Sofa always bring the heat. Leaked a few days early off the immaculate Wall Recordings, The Edge is diamond of a production. Taking bits and pieces from every genre, you're going to get it hit with hard dutch house, smooth progressive melodies, filthy wobbles, and 2muchbass! I already know this track is going to be the #1 played tune in festivals around the world! A+!

The Edge (Original Mix):

B33t Basket

So yesterday, I went to Bay To Breakers in San Franciso at around 5:30 AM, was belligerent by 9 AM, got home at 3 PM, and slept til about 8 PM. The point to this story? I MISSED THE SOLAR ECLIPSE >_< Heard it was awesome :( kbye

A New Drug:

Digitalism handed out this track for free over the weekend and BY GEORGE, it is heavaaay! Indie Dance meets Electro in this hard hitting progressive rock tune. What I like about Digitalism is their ability to bounce between soft tracks, technical tunes, and teeth breakers; true artists that are going to make their mark.

Boyfriend (Dada Life Remix):

Alright, before you get angry at me for posting a Bieber remix, I am doing this as more of an exposure of Dada Life's new sound. Usually, we are expecting bass stacked on more bass infused with bass but more recently, shown in this track and in their remix of Kaskade's Llove, Dada Life is beginning to swim in the big-room waters. I don't know if I necessarily like it yet but I guess it's good to try and step out of your comfort zone once in a while.

Shut It Down:

Since Dada Life couldn't fulfill your daily dose of low end juice, Starkillers have kindly taken up the task. Morphing a phat, acidic bass line and pumping synths, bodies will hit the floor.

Following their hit, Roll The Dice, Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman come out with another festival bomb, paying homage to Mother Russia. Joseph would be proud.

From The Dust

What is up! Due to the fact that I am getting bored of commercial house, these last couple of weeks I have had an unsatisfiable itch for techno! Whilst browsing the worldwide web, I came across this promo for Track It Down (.net), enter the code "daresbury" at the check out and receive FIVE free tracks! I don't know if it is still going on but you might as well check and cash out if you can. Hot damn! Anyways, after a few hours of scrolling through the site I came across this techno beast! Prepare to get swallowed by   deep grooves and rolling bass lines.

From The Dust:

A BNR XXXCLUSIVE! Strip Steve on the scene with a jiving, summer slammer! Blending disco cuts and indie beats, the children will stomp their feet FOR TECHNO!

All of this is techno making me want to go to Hard Summer.....whose in?

Sunday, May 13, 2012

Well put

Came across this article. Thought some of you might like it.
Basically, this guy talks about the clowns in the EDM scene today.
What's your stance?

Thursday, May 10, 2012

WOW! If Congorock's original wasn't enough, an all star line up of Laidback Luke, The Bloody Beetroots, NT89, and Mumbai Science have taken the stems and turned the track into each of their own masterpieces!!! Each remix is equally as good as the next and beautifully exhibits the various styles! Below I am sharing my personal 2 favorites of the 4, but that doesn't mean you should get complacent....GO OUT AND CATCH EM ALL!

Ivory (The Bloody Beetroots Remix):

It has been a long, long while since the Beetroots have produced a hit like this. Lately, the Beetroots have been heading in a different direction. Keeping to the hard electro feel, this remix also showcases their pursuit of becoming a top o' the line, live electro-prog. rock band. I can dig it! Definitely at the top of my "to-see" list. Nothing beats a live set!

Ivory (Mumbai Science Remix):

Heavens to betsy! Phat, greasy synths over a pummeling beat, Mumbai Science cooks up another banger in the tech-lab. I've always enjoyed their uncanny talent to mix techno with house and always pushing the tempo. Easily, one of the best DJ performances I've been to.
It bothers me when there is so many talented producers like this duo, yet the festivals are filled with the same mainstream garbage (ex. Skrollex), but hey, who I am to judge? I still live in my parents basement!

Tuesday, May 8, 2012

YO YO YO YO YOOOO! I don't know how observant you guys are but if you didn't notice.....WE GOT THE MAWFUCKIN DOMAIN NAME BACK!!! Yaaaho0o0o0o0! We are no longer and have now reverted back to FRESHB33TS.COM! Much easier to remember and much easier to tell your friends! Big shout out to T-Shamz for getting it back and what not. To celebrate (and because of my lack of posts), I am hitting you with four raucous tracks to shake yo ass to! Haven't felt this good in a while, big things to come!
It's a GOOD time JAmmboorreeeeEEE!
Harvest N enjoy.

A Dem Slackers original that I have been waiting for, for quite some time! Known for his phat beats and bass-heavy house music, this track is up to par for your raving needs. When your heart rate starts to drop, shock your system with this bumpin' b33t!

For all of you more refined listeners who like the more intricate tunes, YOU MUST check out Future Techno 1 released by Bad Life records. This compilation album is filled with too many well-constructed bleeps, bloops, and beefy bass lines, showcasing some of the best techno of 2012 from the top producers in the game. This track, Splinters, is a dark, warehouse banger that will suck out your soul and have you dancing like a lifeless puppet. Bang BANG BANG.

Silent Shadows (Qulinez Remix):

The swedish duo, Qulinez, are rising fast with their loud, hard big room sound. Recently signed to fellow Swede, Steve Angello's Size Records, these young cats are pumping out tracks left and right. There isn't much to say about this track except for the fact that its a top of line festival banger! This is when it's peak hours and it's time to drop a bomb. Fusing together dutch house elements, rumbling synths, and dubstep, Qulinez concocts a vicious monster for taming the crowd.

Got the domain back, time to Rage!

Now, I have a good feeling that this song is going to get played out the ass every where so get your listening in now, appreciate this uplifting prog. track, and then drop it like its hot before you feel the need to slice your ears off. (PS. anyone catch my clever Levels reference?)

Day Dreamer (Jack Beats Remix)

What is going on?! Jack Beats here with a spectacular remix of Flux Pavilion's latest track, Day Dreamer. Beautifully crafted track that incorporates their signature guttural, vocoder-synth over complex beats! Jack Beats always makes it to the top of my list when it comes to being creative and different! I've also included the radio edit of the original tune but personally, it ain't too special =/ Be sure to also check out Dillon Francis' and Danny Byrd's take on this chune, and YOU be the decider on what you like!

Day Dreamer (Jack Beats Remix):

With Summer right around the corner, Viceroy is kicking up the heat with tropical vibes and smooth poolside jams! Weekend B33t Basket: Guess Who's Back Edition

WHAT IS UP! FINALLY, after days, weeks, hours, minutes, and months of absence, I have finally kicked the horrible habit that people classify as "crystal meth" and am back to bringing you the freshest b33ts! Getting a new computer and finally being able to download music (legally of course....), literally feels like I've been shot into the future! Sensory overload! I know you've all missed me as much as I have missed you, and while I could sit here for hours, yammering about all the good times we've had, the weekend is calling and I can tell you're itching for a hit of da bass! Long overdue: THE B33T BASKET! Harvest and N_joy.
(For those who are new, check out the right side of this page for download instructions)

Last Name London (Brodinski Remix):

Expect only the finest from the DJ's DJ, Brodinski! This track, albeit very simple, is straight up, 3rd-world-country-trailer-trash FILTH! I expect only the dirty girls to get down to this wobbly house track.
REALLY EXCITED to see that he is playing at I Love This City! Definitely the #1 artist I want to see perform.

Eat God See Acid:
It was only a matter of time before tech-house producer, TJR, struck gold! Shortly after his 2012 single, Funky Vodka, landed in the top 10 of the Beatport chart, he decided to push the bar, releasing Higher 2.0 and this track, Eat God See Acid. His playful style balances bouncy techno and irresistible, punching beats that are guaranteed to create a mad rush to the dance floor. A GREAT producer that needs lots more recognition!

Miami Is The Bomb (Shameboy Remix):
The best way to describe the sound of the electric duo, Shameboy, is imagine you're in a forest and you see a bee hive. Right below it, you see a dirt mound, teeming with hundreds and thousands of red ants. As you start to walk over, you shed all of your clothing. Once in range, you began stomping the anthill and punching the bee hive, causing, how do you say....a frenzy? You get the point. These guys are high octane, pedal to the medal, bass in your face. This track go HARD!

Now that we're nice and jacked up, crack some skulls with Clockwork's latest track off his EP, Squad Up.  Hulk is a beefy, rave anthem that is going to choke your low-end! This is my personal favorite off the entire EP with Dillon Francis' remix coming in a close second.

Iconic (Tai Remix):

Very Boys Noize-esque and very smooovvvee. Love Tai, the end.

Ah what the hell, since it has been such a long time, here is one more chune:
Red Line:

Warning! Super curveball. This is the NEWEST Wolfgang Gartner track but he has left behind the dirty, hard electro mantra behind and embraced a progressive, big-room sound. If someone told me this was Avicii or SHM's latest tune, I would believe it. I like the track but it isn't anything special. Hopefully this is only a short phase.

That's all folks! Hit the "Like" button if you want to show some support! B33ts R back!

Hey everyone,
I got good news and bad news. Since no one likes to hear bad news, lets get it over with:
I am having a lot of trouble getting my old music (like 90+ gigs) all formatted and fitted on this new computer with my new music, so until I get that fixed, posts will have to wait.
The good news is, this problem should be fixed within the next few days so expect something fresh midweek!
Still mad at me?
Here is a really awesome picture of a leopard:

Fatboy Slim - UMF 2012 Live Stream

Because Mr. JKilla's computer is broken, it's been somewhat of a ghost town around here. I thought I'd stop by and write some posts to keep everyone from going crazy and doing something drastic, so here I am. Moving right along, this weekend was Ultra Music Festival down in Miami. If you're like most of us and don't have thousands of dollars lying around to jetset off to Miami, you could lie to yourself and pretend like you were there by watching the live stream they had set up. There were a lot of great sets by a lot of good artists, but one that I particularly enjoyed (and could also find a video of) was Fatboy Slim's. Blow up some inflatable palm trees, throw some sand on your carpet, crank up the video, and pretend like your in Miami. Spring break problems solved. You're welcome.

I'll be on the lookout for more videos of sets I liked, but until them, peaceimouttahere.

Terrible News

Terrible News:
While I was in New York, some dick head poured beer on my lap top and failed to tell me. I would make the bstrd pay for all the damage....but I don't know who done it!
Hopefully, I will be able to recover ALL my music but the point is: with out a lap top I can't update Fresh B33ts.
Due to lack of funds, it is going to be a while until I am able to get a new computer SO....

B-day b33t basket

My brain hurts.........note to self: rubbing alcohol doesn't get you drunk. overall, b-day=great success but i need rest. Here are 3 slamming b33ts, now leave me alone.

Bingo Players have been on my radar since "Disco Electrique" (yeah, i'm cooler than you) and what they have evolved into since then is pure awesomeness. There latest single, L'Amour is a curveball to their regular style and it sounds like Daft Punk at their peak (never a bad thing). A+. The Bingo Players are big but need the attention that Swedish House or Deadmao-five get.

Another bomb from Laidback Luke, Arno Cost, and Norman Doray. I know what you're thinking: "Who the fuck is Arno Cost and Norman Doray?!" My response: "Fuck youuuuuu" (They are 2 progressive geniuses) Anywhoooo, this is cool. I am cool. So I know what will make you cool. Play this song, you will be cool. Simple as that.

Funky Vodka:

Speaking of people that need more attention.....T-muthafuckin-JR! This producer, is a technical genius and has a "knack" for concocting smooth, groovy bombs. While the name of this track alone is making me gag, the contents of the song are making me wiggle. Word of the day: AWESOME!

holy hell, how are we in the year 2012 and don't have an instant cure for hangovers......

PS: since its my bday, plz give me a "Like" on Facebook it really would help my head :) ( can always unlike it tomorrow if you want :( ) <-its  a frowny face with a parentheses sign, NOT someone opening their mouth really wide.
